High ratings for November
RTL Television, Vox, RTL II, Super RTL and N-TV achieved a combined market share of 33.9 per cent among young viewers in November, 1.2 percentage points better than the same month the previous year.

RTL Television remained the clear number one among young viewers, showing the right mixture of major show, expressive real-life formats. The channel's ratings of 15.6 per cent among 14 to 49-year-olds put it way ahead of ProSieben (12.1 per cent) and Sat.1 (10.5 per cent). Over the year as a whole, RTL Television is also ahead, scoring 16.1 per cent.

In November, Vox achieved an excellent market share of 8.6 per cent in the 14-49 age group, which helped it to catch up further with its competitor Sat.1. On 29 November, the blockbuster Independence Day even landed Vox ratings of 20.3 per cent, making it the market leader in prime time. Moreover, the channel's various cookery formats performed especially well, with Die Kocharena, Unter Volldampf and Das Perfekte Dinner all consistently securing double-digit ratings.

RTL II's market share in November was 6.3 per cent among viewers aged 14 to 49 and 7.3 per cent among 14 to 29-year-olds. The unusual series Heroes was once again largely responsible for this performance, attaining an audience share of 10 per cent in the channel's target group.
