Broadcast Project Engineer (m/f)

Contract - Full Time

Your challenge:

As part of the engineering and systems integration team, you will:
•Establish and maintain knowledge of current developments in broadcast technology  
•Embrace and usher in new technologies of the broadcast environment 
•Design technical solutions to new distribution challenges 
•Formal presentation of broadcast infrastructure topics to customers.
•Create, build, and maintain signal flow diagrams and schematics
•Update and maintain standard documentation 
•Manage utilization of infrastructure (Routers, Rack Space, Power, etc.)
•Manage existing documentation by ensuring that changes to systems are correctly captured and documented
•Work with engineering and operational partners to ensure that project priorities and dependencies are clearly defined and that project timelines are met
•Specify, design, and order required equipment and materials for completing projects and integrating them into the on-air environment

Your profile:

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Electrical Engineering and are:
•Proficient with MS Office and Project Visio applications
•Fluent in French and English – German and/or Luxembourgish to be considered as strong assets
•Experienced with AutoCAD
•Experienced with working on large and small technical projects, independently as well as with larger groups of engineers and operational personnel
•Experienced network concepts and software application workflow
•Experienced with virtualization and networking software/hardware
•Familiar with Broadcast and Distribution technologies (from Studio & Post Production to Master Control & Distribution)
•Familiar with video encoding/decoding process, and understanding of format differences
•Knowledgeable with baseband video signal flow, standards, and common video infrastructure
•Knowledgeable with IP infrastructure and topology
