PA to SVP Non-Scripted Content, International and VP Scripted Content, International

The Role:

The Global Content Team sits within Fremantle International and evaluates and acquires rights in commercially attractive television properties/IP/Brands for international distribution. 

This is an all-encompassing team support role with complex diary, travel and markets management supporting a global Content Acquisition team that is central to Fremantle International.   


Key Activities and Responsibilities:

  • To manage the complex, fast paced and ever-changing diaries for the SVP Non-Scripted Content, International and VP Scripted Content, International.  Further support to be provided to the Senior Acquisitions Manager and Acquisitions Manager and the broader Global Content team around key market periods. 

  • Complex diary, hotel and restaurant booking management,especially during key periods such as markets i.e. MIPTV and MIPCOM for the entire Global Content team

  • International travel management, including the pricing and booking of tickets, visas and accommodation, and the preparation of all itineraries.

  • Screening internal and external calls, taking messages, arranging conference calls across international time frames.  Ensuring that the relevant information for these calls has been provided and there is sufficient time to allow for preparation. 

  • Meet and greet internal and external clients, taking messages and fielding queries whilst being the brand ambassador for the Global Content team and Fremantle International. This will require adept handling of both creative and commercial stakeholders

  • To support the Global Content team with pre and post market events i.e. producer meetings

  • Coordinating meeting room bookings, hospitality and technical aspects as required

  • Processing purchase orders, invoices and expenses for the Global Content team. 

  • Carry out project coordination for the Global Content team as and when required

  • Key department liaison for all IT and facilities requests

  • Ad hoc tasks and other general administration duties i.e.stock ordering, filing and photocopying, subscription maintenance, sorting through internal and external mail etc.

  • Providing cover for Content Coordinator as and when required


Key competencies and qualifications:

  • Demonstrable PA experience in a busy matrix organisation, with a proven track record of supporting multiple senior individuals

  • An interest in Content Acquisitions and a proactive attitude willing to deliver on the Team Assistant role and pick up ad hoc projects and requirements

  • Proactive and positive can-do attitude

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills and accuracy and administration; be highly self-motivated

  • Experience of working under pressure and multi-tasking and using one’s own initiative

  • Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines

  • Resilient and proactive mind-set with a flexible approach to daily workload and what the Global Content team require

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Professional presentation and demeanour with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • This role demands a flexible approach and team player attitude

  • Excellent M/S Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Team-player and able to work within a diverse team with many local and international internal and external stakeholders at all levels up to a very senior level.
