Senior Business Consultant (m/f)

Your challenge:

Reporting to the Group CFO, deputy CEO of RTL Group, you will be part of a team of 2-3 people and your mission will be to drive the financial and administrative integration of newly acquired businesses and to achieve compliance with the Group’s standards. The mission covers processes and topics across the IT, finance, HR, legal and other supporting functions.

  • Supporting the business in their integration in the Group’s working procedures (reporting, policies & procedures, etc.). Facilitating the links of the various local departments with the Corporate Center; balancing corporate center demands with local feasibility (people, size, costs);
  • Help locally setting up group reporting tools and develop local skill sets;
  • Supporting the Corporate Center in the onboarding process of new acquisitions (supporting the roll-out of reporting processes, policies and procedures, Group referenced applications, etc.); 
  • Involvement in due diligence processes;
  • Analysis of business processes; making suggestions for optimization and alignment with Group practices and standards;
  • Analysis of organizational structures, co-work with Group HR to establish succession plans (internal to the company);
  • Analysis of business risks and internal controls;
  • Support both newly acquired or smaller organisations within the Group where business objectives, lack of resource or organizational structure have proven to be a handicap.

Your profile:

  • Relevant university degree (business administration, finance, IT…);
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience (such as Controlling, Finance, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Group Reporting, M&A) with a proven experience in analysis of complex data sets and IT concepts in general (ERP, CRM…), knowledge of SAP will be considered as an asset;
  • Strong analytical skills, must be able to quickly grasp complex businesses / technical processes;
  • Good command of concepts of financial / business controlling;
  • Experience in assessing organizational set-ups and internal control systems;
  • Good understanding of basic IT controls and security governance; 
  • Understands the complexity and requirements of large international Groups;
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken); German or French will be considered an asset;
  • Business driven, open minded and pragmatic;
  • Very good communicator; an outgoing personality who can quickly build positive relationships;
  • Strong team player and able to manage relationships with business partners autonomously;
  • Excellent drafting skills;
  • Flexible, extensive travelling requirements to cover short to mid-term assignments.
