This year's Télévie, the charity initiave of RTL Belgium and RTL Luxembourg, collected no less than EUR 7'204'342. The fundraising event which ended on Saturday, 1 April thus significantly surpassed the amount raised in the last year (EUR 6,754,332). Since the start of the initiative in 1989 almost EUR 77 million have been raised.

Télévie was created in order to collect funds to finance and improve research against cancer and children's leukemia.
