The popular talent show has been on air on RTL Klub for nine weeks now. On 16 October, RTL Klub broadcast the first live show of X-Faktor. With 2.5 million viewers watching, it achieved an audience share of 55 per cent among viewers aged 18 to 49.
One week later, on 23 October, RTL Klub scored even better audience figures. With a total of 2.8 million viewers tuning in, X-Faktor was watched by 56 per cent of all viewers and by 62.5 per cent of viewers aged 18 to 49, making X-Faktor the most popular television show in Hungary of the past few weeks. The show is so successful that RTL Klub’s main competitor TV2 moved its talent show Megasztár from its Saturday night slot to Friday evening.
“I am delighted by the fantastic performance of the first season of X-Faktor in Hungary which has reached tremendous ratings on a very challenging slot on Saturday evening prime time,” says Dirk Gerkens, CEO of RTL Klub.
