From May through the middle of July, qualifying tournaments for the Haribo Super RTL Golf Challenge 2010 will initially be held at over 200 golf clubs across Germany, where the 300 best junior golfers will qualify for three regional final tournaments. These will be held on 17 July at the Munich-West Odelzhausen golf club, on 24 July at the Gross Kienitz golf club near Berlin and on 08 August at the Jakobsberg golf club near Koblenz. On 28 August, the 100 best next-generation golfers will compete at the final in Jakobsberg. At the grand finale, an attractive supporting programme awaits the young golfers along with an exacting round of play. The winners will receive their trophies from the hands of the famous German moderator Thomas Gottschalk.
Charity Golf tournaments for adults will take place simultaneously with the junior tournaments. The flights include numerous famous actors and athletes with excellent handicaps. All non-golfers are invited to Golf taster courses taught by pros.
As official media partner to the Golf Challenge, Super RTL will provide plenty of on-air and online coverage from May to September. UFA Entertainment is in charge producing the on-air content.
