“Especially among our young target audiences, watching TV content on the Internet has become a natural extension to conventional television,” says RTL II’s managing director Jochen Starke. “The catch-up service integrated on our website gives our viewers the option of watching their favourite RTL II programmes online – whenever they want and for free. Besides, the systematic cross-media distribution of our formats extends the value chain and increases the marketing appeal of our online offerings.”
