Kloeppel will review the most interesting and compelling events around the world and in Germany in his usual professional, engaging manner. The RTL Television anchorman will guide listeners on a very personal tour of the year’s highs and lows, reporting on events including Barack Obama’s election as the first Afro-American U.S. President, the European football championship in Austria and Switzerland, and Andrea Ypsilanti’s defeat in Hesse.
In addition to Peter Kloeppel’s reports, the news chiefs of the respective radio stations will report on their region’s most important and moving moments during the ending year. The detailed look back at the year will air on 104.6 RTL from 19 December and on 105’5 Spreeradio from 29 December. Other stations in which RTL Radio Deutschland holds a stake will also be airing the Radio Center Berlin/ RTL Television co-production, including Antenne Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Radio Ton, Antenne Thüringen, Hit Radio Antenne Niedersachsen and Hitradio RTL Sachsen.
