RTL_Journee_emploi A positive initiative that’s become indispensable On 23 March 2009, RTL Radio France, through its RTL.fr site, launched its first Journée RTL Emploi (Job Creation Day) to help the French in their search for work. These days, the operation celebrates its first anniversary.
 
The initiative instantly gained a following, with 6,000 offers posted in the first edition. Encouraged by this success, France’s number one radio station decided to make the event part of its monthly programme schedule, with the double objective of helping and informing.

It has since become a ritual. Each Monday of the month preceding the traditional monthly publication of unemployment figures, the Journée RTL Emploi  is there. With 217,500 ads posted over the last year, hundreds of people finding jobs and almost 20,000 offers per month on average, RTL Radio is proud to blow out it first candle.

Yesterday, the 13th edition of the Journée RTL Emploi was once again a success, with 25,000 offers posted on RTL.fr.
