M6_logo June ratings in France In June 2010 M6 was able to count on the success of its major shows, the launch of a new documentary and its new programme on home decorating.
 
On average for the month of June 2010, M6 achieved an audience share of 10.0 per cent throughout the day and 10.9 per cent for the strategic noon-to-midnight time slot. Among the programmes that contributed to the channel’s success were L’amour est dans le pré, which drew 4.7 million fans for the launch of Season 5 on 7 June at 20:40. With 4.1 million viewers for the 20 June edition, the newsmagazine show Capital, on the subject: “Home decorating, gardening, do-it-yourself: they promise everything new for your house”, beat its previous record for the season in audience share with viewers age 4 and up. La Nouvelle Star and Pékin Express, two of M6’s emblematic programmes, drew a respective 3.6 million followers on 16 June for the finale and 3.7 million adventure fans on 8 June.


Les Français, l’amour et le sexe

In June, M6 launched a new documentary entitled Les Français, l’amour et le sexe and a new home decorating show called Déco Jardin. Broadcast on 14 June in the second part of the evening, Les Français, l’amour et le sexe drew 3.1 million viewers for a 21.4 total audience share, allowing the channel to remain number one with this target group. There were 2.1 million viewers on 13 June at 18:40 for the show Déco Jardin. With an audience share of 28.2 per cent, M6 was number one with women under 50.


 NCIS Los Angeles

M6 was also the leader with viewers age 4 and up thanks to the series NCIS Los Angeles, with an audience share of 17.7 per cent on 4 June 2010, as well as with viewers under 50, thanks to the series Lie to Me, airing on Thursday at 20:40, with an audience share of 21.5 per cent, and with housewives under 50 thanks to its culinary show Un dîner presque parfait, with an audience share of 27.2 per cent on average for the week of 7 to 11 June 2010 at 17:45.
