The latest CLO RAB / Intomart GfK figures show that Radio 538 most recently attracted 10.7 per cent of the country’s listeners. So it not only further expanded its market share, but has also enhanced its position as the most-listened-to radio station in the Netherlands.
“The Evers anniversary show and the Koninginnedag programming in April were a huge success for us,” says a delighted Jan-Willem Brüggenwirth, the station’s managing director. “Given these results and the current promotions, such as the raffling off of the most World Cup tickets by anyone in the Netherlands during broadcasts of 538 Oranje from the Kurhaus, there’s nothing standing between us and a fantastic summer.”
