FremantleMedia Belgium’s outgoing MD, Gert Verpeet, who is stepping down from the role after nine years with the company, said: “With Kristine’s background in television and experience working for an international group, I am convinced she has the right spirit and qualities to continue writing FremantleMedia Belgium’s success story. Her inspiration, enthusiasm and motivation will ensure that FremantleMedia Belgium continues to be a great company.”
Gert looks back on his time with the company as “an absolute honour to have been part of”. He will continue to serve as Executive Producer on Belgium's Got Talent until the end of the current season.
Prior to joining FremantleMedia, Kristine worked at SBS Belgium for seven years, most recently as Head of Programming at VT4 and Vijftv, and before that as Head of Internal Production. She also spent 13 years as a director, story editor and creative producer at De Televisiefabriek where she worked on the hit documentary series Jambers among other shows.
Cecile Frot-Coutaz, CEO, FremantleMedia, said: “I’d like to welcome Kristine to the company and wish her all the best in her new role. I also want to say a big thank you to Gert for his hard work and the many contributions he has made to FremantleMedia Belgium over the last nine years.”
