Solidarity with worthy causes To mark the 27th ‘Restos du Cœur’ campaign, on 16 March 2012 RTL Radio will broadcast the entire ‘Enfoirés’ soiree, which will also be televised on TF1.
The Enfoirés is the name given to a group of artists and public figures who since 1989 have assembled each year to sing and raise money for Restos du Cœur, a charity that helps the poor, notably by providing free meals.

In 2012, the Enfoirés set the ball rolling at the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon before 12,000 spectators who came to applaud one of the best shows in France. Thirty-eight francophone artists faithfully responded to the appeal launched by comedian and actor Coluche in the 80's, including Jean-Louis Aubert, Yannick Noah, Garou, Jean-Jacques Goldman and Kad Merad. The footballer Karim Benzema, M Pokora and Shy'm are among the new recruits.

The concert will be simultaneously broadcast in prime time on the first national channel and on RTL Radio. As a long-time partner to the association, the station will essentially devote a whole evening to the event. From 20:00 to 20:50, the music journalist Anthony Martin will take listeners behind the scenes of the show, to find out what happens during the preparations and meet the artists. After the concert, he will revisit the highlights of the evening and collect feedback from stakeholders.

The day after the broadcast, a double CD and DVD of the show – this year entitled Le Bal des Enfoirés – featuring the entire concert and numerous bonuses, will go on sale for the benefit of Restos du Cœur. Each sale will allow the association to distribute 18 meals. Last year, with €74 million raised, 60,000 volunteers were able to serve more than 100 million meals.

The entire Enfoirés soiree can be heard on RTL Radio from 20:50 on 16 March.
