Nouvelle_star_3d_teaser Nouvelle Star like you’ve never seen before For the first time in France, an entertainment programme will be broadcast in 3D, thanks to M6: an ambitious operation involving an heavy technical plan.

Always ahead of its time, M6 will broadcast tomorrow’s Nouvelle Star in 3D, live in the theatre MK2 Bibliothèque in Paris, as well as on the new 3D channel of TV d’Orange (channel 33).

Anticipating the developments to come from this new technology, M6 will offer 300 lucky individuals the chance to test the service in advance and watch Nouvelle Star in 3D. To do this, teams from the technological resources department as well as teams from the art department at Groupe M6 will coordinate all the production and broadcast resources for this special operation with FremantleMedia France.

The 3D programme will be produced by Bruno Hullin and Tristan Carné. Launched on 23 May, the 3D channel of TV d’Orange is accessible to Orange fibre-optic cable and internet subscribers who have high-definition TV and who are equipped with a 3D television set and glasses. Groupe M6 is involved with FremantleMedia France, Orange and MK2 as well as AMP/Visual TV, Panasonic, Sony, JVC, GlobeCast and Orad in this special operation.
