The core business of the company contains the development and production of entertainment-shows of different genres. Among them are variety- and game shows, quiz- and panel shows as well as dating-, comedy- and music shows.

The entertainment-producer headquartered in -Cologne produces for all big TV-broadcaster, among them RTL, RTL II and Sat.1, ARD, ZDF and ProSieben. Besides the headquarters in Cologne the company maintains also production locations in Berlin, Hamburg and Baden-Baden. Since 2005 Grundy Light Entertainment is represented with an office in Zurich, Switzerland under the name of "Grundy Schweiz AG" which produces the gameshow 5gegen5 for the public Swiss broadcaster SF 1.
